Teacher Student Relationship
गुरुर्ब्रह्मा गुरुर्विष्णुः गुरुर्देवो महेश्वरः ।
गुरुरेव परंब्रह्म तस्मै श्रीगुरवे नमः ॥
gururbrahmaa gururvishnu gururdevo maheshvarah
gurureva para-brahma tasmai shreegurave namah
Meaning: – Guru (Teacher) is the obvious representative of Lord Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva. He creates, preserve knowledge and destroy. I salute such a Guru (Teacher).
There is a very strong bonding between teacher and student, which is not only from today in fact which is running from last so many centuries.
Since the creation of the universe, in the whole world, the presence of teacher is more vital. In ancient time, In India…… Here I am talking about the time period of Ramayana and Mahabharata. At that time when schools were not in existence, infact in place of schools there were some gurukuls are placed and actually that gurukuls were called the schools of that time. And students need to go there for their studies and to gain knowledge. At that time students were lived with the family of Guru (Teacher) for so many years until their study has not been completed.
But, with the change of time things are also changed. Many schools / colleges / Institutes are opened. Also the pattern of study is changed according the requirement of time, but the teacher-student relation is remains same. And now we are the people of modern generation, a generation where everyone is familiar with internet and social media.
In today’s technical and modern time, student’s not need to go anywhere outside for their studies. They can study from home via internet. But, these technology does not maintain the difference between student teacher relations. They can interact each other anytime anywhere with the help of social media.
Yes, that’s right parents gives birth to a child but this is also a fact that a teacher can guide them and teach them the right way of living life. Only a teacher can grow their mental state and help them to improve their mental ability. A teacher is the only one who have the power to grow children’s personality. They teach them the difference between good and bad. And I think a teacher is also like our parents and that’s why schools are called our second home. For overall academic and social development of student’s a teacher plays an important role in their lives.
